sewing | hand dyeing | patterning | piecing
Four shirts pieced together from dyed rayon, silk, and cotton. All fabrics were dyed with the same black using various techniques such as degumming, ombre dying, and resist dying. Transparencies and layering enhance how different each material takes color.
